Sustainable Development Report

Cathay Pacific has been reporting since 1996 as part of a commitment to transparency and accountability to our stakeholders. Reporting enables us to communicate our performance and outline our future commitments.

Our Sustainable Development Report for 2011 details Cathay Pacific's impact on the environment and the communities in which we operate, as well as the efforts we are making towards managing those impacts (for example, our Supplier Code of Conduct) . While we cannot include all events and initiatives undertaken during the year, we have endeavored to demonstrate a balanced review of the organisation's most significant activities, together with our strategy for dealing with our economic, social and environmental progress for the year.

We are pleased to announce our achievement of an A+ Global Reporting Initiative grade in this report and we have revamped the environmental and social statistics table to demonstrate compliance with this rating. The report has been independently verified.
