Telephone calls are charged at a flat rate per minute, or part thereof, at US$8.80*. Most major credit cards are accepted. Please note that toll-free numbers and international directory enquiries are not available from your inflight phone. The system cannot accept incoming calls either.
Electronic Devices Onboard
Mobile phone and Transmitting devices Mobile phones must be switched off until after landing. The cabin crew will advise you when you can switch them on again. Transmitting devices such as Walkie-talkies, remote control devices, and devices with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth functions enabled must not be used on the aircraft.
Electronic Devices
All other electronic devices need to be switched off during take off, as these can interfere with aircraft instruments and systems. The cabin crew will inform you when it is safe to switch them on again.
* There will be no connecting tone before the recipient picks up the call. Please be patient while the phone is connecting. A connection fee may be charged even if the recipient does not answer the call.
