Transferring at Incheon International Airport, Seoul
With immediate effect and until further notice, passengers making flight connection for international services at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport are required to collect their bags on arrival at Incheon and check in their bags again, except for passengers who have a confirmed onward connection within 24 hours and are staying inside the transit area.Transfer passengers landing at Incheon should collect their bags on arrival and recheck them in at the check-in counter on their departure, irrespective of the connecting time.
As a local Government security directive, passengers who have failed to clear their baggage through customs will be required to pay the associated baggage handling and custody fees.
It should also be noted that as a standard requirement, passengers making transfer at Incheon to other Korea’s domestic destinations should collect and recheck in their bags at Incheon International Airport.
