The Engineering Internship program allows undergraduates who have a zeal for aviation to obtain practical work experience in a global aviation leader while gaining an opportunity to explore future career possibilities in aviation engineering. Engineering undergraduates are encouraged to join our internship program catered to fit their vacation schedules (Winter/Summer Intake).

With a satisfactory performance during your internship period, Engineering interns can enjoy an exemption of recruitment interview and go straight to the group discussion stage when applied to our Engineering Trainee Programme.

To apply as an Engineering Intern, you should possess the following requirements:

• The right of abode in Hong Kong. Alternatively, PRC Nationals who are eligible to work in Hong Kong under the new immigration policy are welcome to apply
• Undergraduate in Engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or Air Transportation
• High standard of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is a definite advantage)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team-leading abilities
• Possess creativity and strategic thinking
• Strong passion on airplanes

Recruitment Schedule

Winter Application
Application Deadline : 15 November 2009
Assessment : early December 2009
Commencement of Employment : late December 2009 / January 2010

Summer Application
Application Deadline : 28 February 2010
Assessment : March – April 2010
Commencement of Employment : June / July 2010
