PDA Services

1. What kind of PDA services does Cathay Pacific offer?

You can download our Timetable and check flight schedules for the coming 3 months. We also deliver our latest news and hot offers to your PDA. Plus you can subscribe to notiFLY Flight Paging. Members of The Club can also check your mileage status as well as your current transactions. If you are a member of Asia Miles or The Club, you can also download your personal itinerary which contains your Cathay Pacific flights' booking record to your PDA .

2. What are the preferences offered in Downloadable Timetable?

Following are the 4 options currently available:

  • Preference 1: This displays all our flights flying to and from one city to all our other destinations, including all direct and connecting flights. (Total file size: around 400K for the first download)
  • Preference 2: This only shows the flights of the selected 3 cities we cover to and from another of our 5 destinations. (Total file size: around 100K)
  • Preference 3: This displays all direct flights to and from all our destinations. (Total file size: around 250K for the first download - this is the default option)
  • Preference 4: This does not download any schedule information. (Total file size: around 70K)

Depending on the preference you select, it would take 3-10 minutes to download our Timetable if you are using a 56K modem.

3. How do I select schedule preferences on my PDA?

After the initial download, you will find the Timetable set to display our direct flights to and from all cities we fly to (ie Preference 3). However, you can always change your preference from the 4 options available based on your itinerary.

4. What should I do if the "Timeout" error message appears during the download process?

Please try again during non-peak hours, or contact your Internet Service Provider if this problem persists.

5. How often is the PDA version of your Downloadable Timetable updated?

The PDA version is updated weekly.
