3. Will the selection process take place in Hong Kong? The initial selection process for the Cadet Pilot Programme will take place in Hong Kong and in overseas ports. Cadet candidates are responsible for all related expenses. Short-listed candidates will then be invited to attend a second interview in Hong Kong. We will provide travel and accommodation for the final interview. |

4. What is the retirement age for pilots? We offer a full career to the age of 65 years. |

5. I hold a foreign flying licence. Will I need to convert it to a Hong Kong licence? The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department will provide licence conversion terms to all successful applicants. |

6. What are the career prospects for flight crew at Cathay Pacific? Qualified Flight Crew may progress to the rank of Training Captain and/or Check Captain. There are opportunities for Captains to advance into Management as well. Members from all ranks are also given the opportunity to take part in various projects. |

7. How do I know if my application is successful or not? Flight Crew applicants are encouraged to up-date their on-line application outlining any changes in contact details and/or flying hours. We will acknowledge receipt of all correspondence sent to the Flight Crew Recruitment Section. |
