Mark Emmerson
Head of Trade and Supply Chain

Mark is a graduate of Loughborough University holding an Honours Degree in Banking and Finance and is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers. He joined HSBC in 1988, as part of the international staff and has since represented the Group in Dubai, Armenia and Oman in addition to several postings in Hong Kong and the UK.
As Head of Trade and Supply Chain Europe, Mark is now based in London and has regional responsibility for HSBC's trade related businesses in the UK and across Europe.
Mark is a member of the ICC UK Council.
Stephen Philips

Stephen Phillips joined the China-Britain Business Council as Chief Executive in June 2006. Stephen has been actively engaged in business in and with China since 1989 and his experience spans a number of sectors including aerospace, oil, gas and petrochemicals, infrastructure, ICT and financial services.
Angus Barclay
General Manager Europe
Cathay Pacific Airways
Angus joined John Swire & Sons in 1987 and has worked with three companies within the group in six countries. Within Cathay Pacific Angus has held senior positions in Hong Kong. His current position is General Manager Europe, to which he was appointed in 2010. Prior to that he was Cathay Pacific's General Manager International Affairs from 2006 to 2010.
