The trip to China will take place in Spring 2010. Winners must be able to travel on specific dates to be released by Cathay Pacific. No cash or alternative travel dates will be offered. Participants on the trip must be employees of the winning company at the time of travel.

You may have specific requirements or looking for a particular service available to you locally. There are some organisations that can assist you and give you all the support that you need.
Some local Chambers of commerce have their own China focused divisions and have free and very useful resources including local seminar sessions. They are specialised in dealing with companies in the local area giving you the best possible advice for your business. Similarly, Invest Northern Ireland has a full range of services for Northern Irish based companies, particularly in the manufacturing and tradable service sector, which is their area of expertise.
The Insider magazine is an insightful publication and has a full range of up to date information on doing business in China, company profile on local businesses especially in Wales, Yorkshire, the midlands and Scotland. They also co-operate with local governmental organisations to put on events as well as annual directories.
Another organisation, which can provide you with invaluable support, is the China Adviser Network (CAN). Established in November 2007 by a group of founder members whose areas of business expertise range from recruitment to tourism and business consultancy to marketing. The common thread is that all members are actively working in or with Chinese businesses. They provide tailor-made services including supplier/distributor short-listing and introductions, cultural and etiquette training, competitor research, PR services, translations, recruiting of Chinese staff and much more to cater for your specific needs.
