China-Britain Business Council

China-Britain Business Council's (CBBC) objective is to assist any British company or organisation to do business in China. In this it co-operates closely with the private sector and trade associations, including UK Trade & Investment; the British Embassy and Consulate Generals in China; the British Chamber of Commerce in China; and the devolved administrations and Regional Development Agencies in the UK. It is recognised at the highest levels of the Chinese government. It hosts business events for all senior Chinese leaders visiting UK.

CBBC delivers its services through a network of seven offices in the UK and 11 Chinese cities. The main China office is in the British Centre in Beijing where it shares space with the British Chamber of Commerce. The other Chinese cities CBBC operates in are Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Chengdu, Qingdao, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Guangzhou and Chongqing.

Hong Kong Trade Development Council

A statutory body established in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is the international marketing arm for Hong Kong-based traders, manufacturers and service providers.

With more than 40 global offices, including 11 on the Chinese mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a platform for doing business with China and throughout Asia.

The HKTDC also organises trade fairs and business missions to connect companies with opportunities in Hong Kong and on the mainland, while providing information via trade publications, research reports and online.
