Other Cabin Bulky Baggage
With effect from 1st January 2012, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair flights can accept items of baggage as Cabin Bulky Baggage (CBBG), provided the items are not of dangerous goods, restricted articles or other prohibited items, and the CBBG can fit on the passenger seats in respect of sizes and weights defined in the table below.
Here are examples of the acceptable items:
- Musical instruments
- Religious idols
- Diplomatic baggage
- Other items, such as artworks, models, urns etc.

Note1: A canvas bag is used to secure the baggage item to the seat.
*Religious idol will be put into a carton box that will be fitted into a canvas bag.
