Passengers aged 18 or above are entitled to the following duty-free quota:
Tobacco Products: 50 cigarettes or 50 grams of cigars/tobacco products (for passengers at the age of 18 and over)
Alcoholic Beverages: 2.25 litres of wine or spirits
Others: Duty-free goods up to a total value of AUD900 per adult; AUD450 for persons under 18 years old.
Importation of any food item is prohibited. All items of food must be disposed of in the bins provided at the Arrival Hall, or declared to Customs for inspection.
A Glance at Airport Facilities
- Toilets, showers and ramps are all designed for wheelchair access. Lowered telephones are also available.
- Free trolleys are available in the Customs Hall for arriving passengers. For passengers leaving Sydney, trolleys are available from trolley bays in the car park and on the departures concourse at A$2 each.
- Showers and baby change facilities are centrally located in the Terminal.
- The Airport's Medical Centre is located on Level 3. The Centre is open Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 16.30. Closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Call 9667-4355 for medical services.
