Customs Allowance
Passengers aged 18 or above are entitled to the following duty-free quota:
Tobacco Products: 250 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco (for passengers at the age of 18 and over)
Alcoholic Beverages: 2.25 litres of wine or spirits
Others: Duty-free goods up to a total value of AUD900 per adult; AUD450 for persons under 18 years old.
Importation of any food item is prohibited. All items of food must be disposed of in the bins provided at the Arrival Hall, or declared to Customs for inspection.
A Glance at Airport Facilities
- All parking areas, kerbs, toilets and aerobridges are designed for wheelchair access. Lowered telephones are also available.
- Free trolleys are available for arriving international passengers. Elsewhere you need to pay A$2 for each trolley.
- Shower facilities are available in the Central Concourse.
- Customer Service Officers are available to assist you, eg first aid assistance. You can reach them at 4052-9703 or 400 on the intercom system.
